    CHANGE NAMESERVER

    Hi,

Simply put. How do I change my .cm or .cm.au nameserver for display on a whois lookup.

Some simple instructions would be great.

I know to go to the domain management of each domain, but what exactly needs to be done?

    THANKS

    Unhappy HELP!

    Hi,

    i think i have a problem.

i believe many moons ago i created child nameservers in the hope to change my displayed name servers.
yesterday i deleted them. as it never worked and the domain sitll had the ns1.jumba nameservers etc.

i then selected enable DNS management and that changed my nameservers to ns1.name-services.com.au etc.

now my domain is inaccessible since over 24hrs ago. problem is, this is my reseller domain and therefore i cant ftp to my hosting

is this just a matter of dns propagation times? (hope) or do i need to do something else???

Any advise is very greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Tooheys, I have responded to your post on Whirlpool.

You are presently missing the A records which actually point your domain at your server.

I can't provide you with the IP address you require, as I don't know which server you are on, but you should find it within your Welcome Email.

    Thanks.

    Ive sent the PM.

My Welcome Email is looong gone. Ive had this account for over 4 yrs.....

do i add the records as hostname.mydomain ? even though the name servers are ns1.name-services.com.au ??

Are the IP address not as in the Jumba Wiki?

    How does it look now?

To cut it short, if you want to manage all DNS records for your domain, enable DNS management.

If however, you simply want things to work automatically, ensure your domain is delegated to ns1.jumba.net.au and ns2.jumba.net.au

Now, what i have done is setup your child nameservers so they are actually referencing the above two nameservers.

Perform a whois on your domain and you will see what i mean. Personally, with as many zone records as you, i would just keep it how it is.

    Cool website btw :-)
